Artistic sequence of Earth's evolution

ALPHAPLAYTECH RESEARCH CENTER

RESEARCH PROJECT NO. 001

Alpha Earth
Evolution

A digital scientific journey from planetary formation to possible futures — permanent, open to the public, free and designed to evolve with science.

001OFFICIAL PROJECT
4.5 bnAPPROXIMATE YEARS
CONTINUOUS EVOLUTION
0PUBLIC ACCESS COST

Earth Evolution will not be a closed animation. It will be a living platform for research, education and technology: new evidence may correct dates, interpretations, models and reconstructions, always with a version history.

ALPHA / SCIENTIFIC TRANSPARENCY

The public will always know what it is seeing.

Every scene, data point or narrative will be classified. The project will not present reconstructions as footage of the past or future scenarios as certain predictions.

Observed evidence

Fossil, rock, dating result, instrumental record or verifiable data.

Scientific reconstruction

Synthesis based on multiple lines of evidence, with stated limits.

Hypothesis under debate

A possible, testable explanation that is not yet established.

Future scenario

A conditional simulation dependent on assumptions and uncertainty.

ALPHA / DEEP TIME

An initial architecture for 4.5 billion years.

Ages are approximate and will be aligned with the current International Chronostratigraphic Chart and reviewed literature.

014,6–4,5 Ga

Formation of the Solar System and Earth

Accretion of material from the protoplanetary disk, internal differentiation and formation of the young planet.

024,4–4,0 Ga

Cooling, crust and early oceans

Hypotheses tested with ancient minerals, geochemistry, craters and Earth-Moon system models.

034,0–2,5 Ga

Archean and earliest evidence of life

Oceans, tectonic activity, an atmosphere without abundant free oxygen and ancient records of biological activity.

042,5 Ga–538,8 Ma

Proterozoic: oxygenation and complexity

Atmospheric change, glaciations, complex cells and multicellular organisms precede the Phanerozoic.

05538,8–251,9 Ma

Paleozoic: diversification and life on land

Major marine diversification, plants and animals colonize land, followed by the largest known mass extinction.

06251,9–66 Ma

Mesozoic: continents in motion

Dinosaurs, marine reptiles, early birds and mammals coexist as Pangaea breaks apart.

0766 Ma–presente

Cenozoic, humanity and today's planet

Diversification of mammals and birds, climate change, human evolution and the growing influence of societies on Earth systems.

08Futures

Scenarios, not predictions

Climate, biosphere, plate tectonics and solar evolution will be presented as conditional scenarios with explicit assumptions, horizons and uncertainty.

ALPHA / SCIENTIFIC AXES

Each area with specialist review.

01

Planetary formation

Solar nebula, accretion, impacts, differentiation and the Earth-Moon system.

02

Dynamic Earth

Tectonics, volcanism, oceans, continents, minerals and the rock cycle.

03

Climate and atmosphere

Atmospheric composition, glaciations, greenhouse effect, cycles and extreme events.

04

Evolution of life

Origins, diversification, extinctions, ecosystems and coevolution with the planet.

05

Human evolution

Hominins, culture, technology, migrations and environmental transformation.

06

Earth futures

Climate, geological, biological, technological and astronomical scenarios.

ALPHA / DIGITAL EXPERIENCE

Research transformed into visual understanding.

The AlphaPlayTech team will focus on software, AI, modeling, data, interactive experience and visualization, while specialists review content in their fields.

ALPHA / REFERENCE NETWORK

Recognized and traceable initial sources.

The project will produce its own synthesis and respect copyright, licenses and attribution. Internet material will not be copied indiscriminately: it will be evaluated, cited, licensed or referenced by link only.

PERMANENT CALL / PROJECT 001

Help build a more rigorous and accessible history of Earth.

We seek scientific reviewers, researchers, students, programmers, educators, scientific artists and institutions interested in structured cooperation.
